During a massage session we are manipulating the soft tissue and releasing toxins that have been stored in the tissue due to injury or abuse. Abuse would include our diet, lack of exercise, and lack of water and fresh fruits and vegetables.
To rid the body of these toxins we need to increase water intake to allow these toxins to be flushed through the system. This aids in the healing and recovery time of the tissue, muscles and structures being worked.
Epsom salt baths really help in pulling excess toxins through the body by eliminating it through the skin itself.
